Author Guidelines
Interested in submitting infographics to our journal? We recommend that you review the About The Journal page as well as this Author Guidelines page. Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply sign in and begin the submission process. Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following checklists, and submitted infographics may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these checklists.
☑ The primary language of submission is English, infographics in other languages rather than English may not be considered.
☑ The submitted infographics have not been previously published in another journal for consideration.
☑ The submitted infographics should be in PDF file format.
☑ All authors are encouraged to submit a high-quality infographic as a single-page PDF file with plagiarism checking and standardized language writing form.
☑ All authors are encouraged to submit a high-quality image file (in the format of BMP, JPG/JPEG, or PNG) for the Cover section, as a partial snapshot of its infographic PDF file.
☑ The author’s bibliographic information is placed at the top of the Abstract section, including the submission date.
☑ The filename of the submitted infographic PDF file preferably matches the Title section, better in indexing and searching.
☑ The file size of the submitted infographic PDF file should not be more than 10 MB (MegaBytes).
☑ The dimensions of the submitted infographic PDF file, i.e. the width and the height, are fully desirable and customizable for the authors.
☑ The texts (fonts, formats, and sizes) are fully desirable and customizable for the authors, and all illustrations, figures, graphics, charts, and tables are placed appropriately within the texts.
☑ The citations and references must have been provided using the IEEE reference guide.
Publishing Mode
◈ Infographics submission and publication are free-of-charge in this journal.
◈ The journal will be utilized to publish its contents, including infographics, online.
◈ The journal provides open-access (OA) to its contents, including infographics.
◈ The Copyright Holder of infographics will be “authors”.
◈ The Copyright Year of infographics will be “publish as you go”.
Future Steps
◈ The journal will have a well-recognized ISSN and Crossref / DOI for each of its issues, i.e. collections of published infographics, after a defined number of publications.
◈ The journal will supply metadata to third-party indexing services through the OAI (Open Archives Initiative).
◈ The journal will support the archiving services through the LOCKSS / CLOCKSS.
